Class Description: Photo Club is a class where students choose the photographic direction they want to explore.  Students are expected to have a basic understanding of camera settings, such as Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO, and have an interest in expanding their photographic knowledge and expressing themselves creatively.  This class takes many forms depending on the participants, but we have been known to photograph events, create in-depth projects, become involved with the community, and more. 
This session's Photo Club will also be exploring the portfolio building process, as well as printing, framing, and matting their work.

Class Description: This class is for Homeschool Community. We will be exploring how to capture motion in a variety of settings.  We will be freezing the action, capturing the flow of movement, and combining the still and the flow.  Using digital cameras, lighting, and specific camera settings, students will learn to create amazing images.

Class Description: Welcome to the world of Digital Photography!  This class will introduce students to DSLR cameras and the primary settings they can use to capture a variety of images.  They will explore the art of composition, lighting, and noticing the details of the world around them.  This class is perfect for the newcomer to photography.

Class Description: In Queer Focus, we'll explore how photography can be a way to express who we are, what we experience, and the stories we want to tell through the camera.  We'll make self-portraits, experiment with storytelling through images, and learn about Queer photographers of the past and present.  Through creative exercises and hands on projects, we'll play with perspective, identity, and what it means to see and be seen!

Thursdays from 4pm-6pm (No class Nov 26th)

Class Description: Learn the art of taking pictures on film!  In this hands-on class, students will learn how to use an analog camera, develop their own film, and make photographs in the darkroom. 
Students in Analog 1 will learn the basics of film photography, including how to use a camera, load and develop film, make contact sheets, and finally create their own black & white prints.  
Students in Analog 2 will build on these skills with more advanced alternative process projects.  They will have more freedom to experiment, develop their own ideas, and individual interests and style.  
Because this is a combined class, students will work together, share ideas, and participate in group critiques, while assignments will be adjusted to match each student's experience level.  

No previous photography experience is required.
