MCVP is committed to providing help and support to those in need and to promoting prevention in our communities through education and outreach. We are a team of dedicated individuals working toward a violence-free Monadnock Region. In addition to offering crisis intervention services, we have a dedicated prevention education branch. Our direct services staff now includes full time advocates, a Family Violence Prevention Specialist, Shelter Advocate, and Housing First Advocate.
The Rockingham Arts and Museum Project (RAMP) is located in southeastern Vermont along the Connecticut River in the village of Bellows Falls, one of the five villages that comprise the township of Rockingham. RAMP is a missionary for the arts in the region. Through projects and partnerships, RAMP strives to: develop awareness of the arts; create vitality in the community with the arts; and demonstrate that the arts can favorably impact the local economy.
Kroka Expeditions is a non-profit wilderness expedition school based on a year-round, organic farm in Marlow, NH. We believe hat consciousness and altruistic will can be brought forward through a living relationship with the natural world and by taking our places within the circle of community.
Cooper's Crossroad engages in raising awareness regarding the impact of adverse childhood experiences and trauma through educational platforms including movie screenings, panel discussions, speaking engagements and social media. One of the Cooper's Crossroad programs is Farming for Resilience, a farm and equine based extended learning opportunity which focuses on social and emotional learning.
Cheshire County Conservation District encourages stewardship for healthy soils, productive ecologically sound farms, diverse wildlife, productive sustainable forests, healthy watersheds and clean water to ensure those resources are available for future generations.
Black Sheep Radio is a member-owned and volunteer-run non-profit community station for southern Vermont and New Hampshire at 91.5 FM in the broadcast area and webcasting everywhere else from www.wool.fm.
Feeding Tiny Tummies, a 501(c)(3) non-profit program to fight against childhood hunger who works with local schools in Cheshire and Sullivan County, NH to provide meals to children on weekends, breaks and summers away from school. Community volunteers fill bags that are being delivered to schools in 14 locations.
Friends of Chesterfield School is a volunteer organization dedicated to helping Chesterfield School provide the best academic and social environment for the children of Chesterfield School through parental involvement and support, fundraisers and social activities. Chesterfield PTO is always looking for other parents, teachers or community members to share ideas, brainstorm fundraising ideas and find ways to support Chesterfield School and each other.
